Byakuya is far more powerfull than kenpachi. Ichigo fought against kenpachi and the fight came to a stalemate. This was before Ichigo even achieved bankai. When Ichigo fought against Byakuya, not only did he need his bankai but he also needed his inner hallow to fight for him. There is no comparison between Kenpachi and Byakuya. If Kenpachi ever learned the name of his soul slayer or achieved bankai, that could be a different story.

actually if u look into it kenpachi is stronger.he is the only captain who has not achieved bankai and doesnt know his sanpaktou’s name.Zaraki fights on pure strenght which ichigo fought evenly with him.Byakuya wasnt stronger than Ichigo he was always faster which ichigo could never seem 2 follow.ichigo’s bankai only makes him FASTER not stronger because that is zangetsu’s ability.Bankai doesnt necessarily make you stronger its just another ability
for example Tousen’s Bankai doesnt affect his power or speed his is 2 make opponent completely blind and deaf which proves my case.
Ichigo struggled agaisnt the arrancar for not becoming stronger which made him want to control his inner hollow ogihci and become vaizard which Does make him stronger

ANd Ogihci or his inner hollow like u said only came out in the fite because his reiatsu is bigger than ichigo and he couldnt control himself from him.he didnt need ogihci 2 win but ogihci was so strong it made ichigo unable 2 move because he was set 2 take over.If ogihci would have fought from the beggining the fite would have been over very quickly.
so his inner hollow really didnt affect anything

Jerrel, I believe you have misread the question.
It asks who is stronger.
Kenpachi’s strength is greater. As Jthan has said.
Byakuya is alot faster. And his Bankai is deadly.
But also note that he could not kill a lowly vice-captain with his bankai. Merely beat him up.
Kenpachi’s reiatsu is scary big. He is stronger.
Though I do agree with you.
There is no comparison between Kenpachi and Byakuya.
Kenpachi is stronger.

Both Kenpachi and Byakuya are strong, but Kenpachi is more fearless compared to Byakuya. But I think Byakuya is stronger than Kenpachi because Kenpachi doesn’t even know his Zapakutou’s name..There is no way he can get stronger with his alone strength. I haven’t seen Byakuya using all of his strength to defeat anyone, not Ichigo, not Kariya.. He hasn’t used everything he has got.. But on the other hand, Kenpachi has used all of his reiatsu in the fight with Ichigo.. In my opinion, Kenpachi is so strong because he doesn’t fear anything.. but I think, “will he feel sad if Yachiru has died?” I don’t know..
Even Byakuya looks so cool, he feels sad when Hisana died..
But I think Ichigo is strongest.
Because he has the strongest desire to fight, more than Kenpachi
The strength come with the desire to protect is the greatest strength, the desire to fight for fun cannot compare to that. That’s why Vietnam has defeated America in the History. So Ichigo>Byakuya>Kenpachi
